Frequently asked questions
Questions about our services
This page answers the questions we hear most about sales services, business brokerage, merchant services, and how to start a conversation with BH Sales and Services LLC. If your question is not here, email [email protected].
Where to start
Choosing a provider
The right provider depends on what is actually stuck. If you need more qualified conversations with buyers, look at sales services. If you are preparing to sell or transfer a business, look at business brokerage. If the issue is how you accept and receive payments, look at merchant services.
In Florida, plenty of firms advertise all three. Ask what they will do in the first month and how they will report on it. A clear answer separates a working plan from a pitch, and it tells you whether the provider has done this before in your part of Brevard County.
Bring the numbers you already trust: your close rate, your average deal size, and roughly how many conversations it takes to get one signed client. Those three figures are usually enough to tell whether you need more conversations, better-qualified ones, or help finishing the ones you already have.
Bring your own numbers
Pipeline value, close rate, and average sale size are the figures that shape the plan. If you do not track them yet, say so — we can start with what you know and refine from there.
Ask about reporting
You should know how progress gets measured before work begins. Ask whether reporting is weekly or monthly, who reads it, and what happens when a target list stops producing replies.
Check the fit first
If your market, your price point, or your timeline does not match what we do well, the first call is where we say so. That saves both sides months of misaligned effort.
The engagement
What a sales engagement should include
A defined target list, agreed qualification criteria, active outreach, and reporting tied to outcomes. If a provider cannot describe what happens in week one, that is a warning sign. So is a promise of a specific number of closed deals, since nobody controls your close rate but you.
What happens in week one
We agree on who counts as a qualified buyer, build the first target list together, and set the outreach schedule. You see the list before anyone is contacted, so nothing goes out that you have not approved.
What we will not promise
We will not tell you a fixed number of deals will close. We control outreach, follow-up, and the quality of the conversations we start. You control pricing, terms, and the final yes.
Three levels of help
Lead generation, appointment setting, or full sales management
Lead generation finds the right people. Appointment setting turns that into booked meetings. Full sales management goes further and includes handling the conversations and closing. Most small businesses start with one of the first two and move up only if the pipeline justifies it. We will help you work out which stage you are at.
Best when you have a product that sells once people see it, but your team spends its week on delivery instead of prospecting. We build the list from your criteria and keep it current as your market shifts.
You keep the meetings. We handle the first contact, the follow-up sequence, and the calendar. Useful when your calendar has gaps but your pitch works once you are in the room.
We take the calls, handle objections, and work the deal to signature. This is the deepest level of involvement and the one that makes sense only when there is enough qualified demand to keep it busy.
Not sure which stage fits? Describe your situation in the first email and we will tell you where we would start.
Handling sensitive information
Confidential business-sale support
Word reaching a supplier or an employee before you are ready can affect your leverage, so the process is designed to prevent that.
Confidentiality means controlled disclosure. Information is released in stages, buyers are identified before financials are shared, and there is a clear agreement on what gets discussed and when. This applies from the first conversation, not from the day a listing goes out.
- Buyers are screened first. Names and intent are established before any financial detail leaves your office.
- Disclosure moves in stages. Each round of information is agreed in advance, so you always know what a buyer has seen.
- The team stays out of it. Conversations happen with you and us, not in front of staff, customers, or vendors.
